Modern Natural Oak Nightstand with 2 Drawers
Narrow Natural Oak Nightstand with Two Soft-Close Drawers
Eighteen inches wide is the size that solves a tight bedroom. It fits beside a twin bed, in the strip of wall between a mattress and a window, or in a guest room where a standard nightstand would crowd the door. Storage holds up anyway: a shallow top drawer and a deep one below, both on soft-close glides and rated to 30 pounds.
Pale natural oak keeps the visual weight down. Against linen bedding and a plaster wall it reads as warm wood, and the grain picks up warmth once the lamp comes on at night. The top overhangs the case slightly and its corners are rounded, so the one your hip finds in the dark is a soft one.
Solid oak sits where your hands go: the edges, the legs and the round pulls. Oak veneer over MDF covers the top, sides and front. The matte finish throws back less lamp glare than a lacquered top. At 26 inches tall it sits near the height of many mattresses, but measure yours before ordering. A top well above the mattress turns every reach for your phone into a stretch. The back is finished, it arrives fully assembled, and a tip-over restraint comes in the box.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
