Tan Leather Counter Stool
Napoli Counter Stool in Brown Top-Grain Leather on Solid Oak Legs
The Napoli counter stool pairs two materials that have a natural affinity for each other: top-grain leather in warm brown and solid oak legs in a light natural finish. The seat is a low-back bucket form, the leather curving gently up at the rear to provide support without height, and the seat footprint is compact at 17.3 inches wide and 18.9 inches deep. Four splayed oak legs create a wider stance at the base than at the seat, which keeps the stool stable under shifting weight without adding visual bulk.
The Napoli Counter Stool from Moe's Home Collection sits at 33.8 inches for standard counter height. The metal footrest crossbar connects the front legs and gives the feet somewhere to rest, which matters for comfort at a counter over time. The top-grain leather seat is foam-filled and will develop a worn quality with use: the kind of softening that natural leather does and synthetic materials cannot replicate. The oak and brown leather together read warmly and hold their own in a wide range of kitchen and dining environments.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
