Bronze Metal Drum Accent Table

Bronze Cast Aluminum Accent Table with Rounded Drum Form | 18 Inch | Accent Table
The form is unusual enough to describe plainly: a cast aluminum drum, rounded and slightly flattened at the top, tapering toward three small splayed feet at the base. Not a table disguised as sculpture -- it is openly sculptural, the functional surface incidental to the object's primary purpose, which is to occupy a corner or a seating position with material weight and character. The dark bronze patina reads as warm and rich, sitting closer to dark amber than to cool chrome or brushed silver -- a metallic that has been treated to look earned rather than fresh.
At the living room seating position the piece reads as a collected object placed to hold a glass -- its round drum form low at 18 inches, appropriate beside a lounge chair or a low daybed. In morning directional light the bronze surface develops a warm highlight at the top face and shifts to shadow at the lower body curve, the form reading with three-dimensional sculptural clarity rather than flat against the surrounding materials. The three small feet lift the base off the floor plane by a fraction, the splayed stance contributing stability while the gap below makes the drum read as placed rather than planted.
The bronze patina is an outdoor-capable aluminum casting -- the material handles environmental conditions without the maintenance demands of real bronze or raw iron. The practical trade-off at 19 by 19 inches: the surface is genuinely modest in area, placing this firmly in the accent-table category rather than the functional side-table category. One drink, one book, one object. The mistake is placing this at a primary seating position and expecting conventional side table service from a form whose real purpose is material presence and sculptural weight. Used correctly -- as the room's collected dark-bronze object at the seating edge -- it contributes what no standard side table can.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
