Description

Golden Yellow Woven-Pattern Upholstered Sofa with Wide Block Arms | 90 Inch | Sofa

Same thick-arm form as the Leo chair at sofa scale -- the same wide upholstered arm masses, the same integrated rounded back, the same block feet with dark piping trim -- in a warm golden chartreuse with a woven geometric pattern. The pattern is a small rectangular motif in cream on a golden ground, the woven surface adding depth that plain solid upholstery would not have at 90 inches. The pattern is the sofa's room contribution: surface texture at the room's primary horizontal element, close enough to warm neutral that it reads as settled rather than busy.

The seat and back are integrated rather than loose cushions -- no separate cushions to rearrange, no back cushions to plump or prop. The sofa reads as a clean resolved form, the arm blocks the architectural event at each end of the 90-inch span. The patterned fabric rewards close attention without demanding it from across the room.

The trade-off with a patterned sofa: it narrows the range of upholstery that works around it. Surrounding chairs and accent pieces read best in solid tones that pick from the pattern's palette -- warm gold, cream, or neutral brown. At 90 by 33.8 inches and 127 pounds the piece makes a significant horizontal commitment. Measure the intended wall and confirm delivery path before ordering.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
