55" Camel Upholstered Dining Bench

Camel Upholstered Dining Bench with Sculptural Splayed Legs | 55 Inch | Dining Bench
The bench translates the form's sculptural leg language to a long horizontal object at dining height -- 55 inches of padded seat surface, no back, the same splayed-and-tapered legs visible at each end in the same camel upholstery as the seat. Without the back and arm structure the entire visual contribution of the form rests in the legs, which carry the design identity of the whole system at the floor line. The camel -- a warm, golden-beige polyester -- reads as a natural-neutral material presence against the table's far side. The color belongs to the warm end of the beige range: closer to pale straw and warm linen than to taupe or grey, reading as warm and integrated in rooms running natural materials and wood tones.
At 55 inches the bench holds two to three sitters at the table's far side. The backless form is a specific placement decision: without back support the bench works best where the wall provides context behind the sitters, or where the table's depth is sufficient that sitters naturally lean forward. A 55-inch bench against a window or wall at the dining room's far side reads as an architectural seating element -- a long horizontal form that anchors the table arrangement at the back rather than surrounding it with individual chairs. The camel tone against a natural wood table reads as a warm tonal pairing -- both the seat and the table belonging to the golden-warm register of natural materials.
Camel polyester on a dining bench surface requires some care at meal time -- blotting spills promptly rather than rubbing prevents the pile from compressing at the point of contact. The foam seat pad provides appropriate seated comfort at dining height. At 40.8 pounds the bench is manageable for repositioning. The splayed legs extend slightly beyond the seat footprint at each end -- confirm floor clearance in the intended position. Pairs naturally with the chairs from the same form family for a cohesive dining arrangement.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
