Set of 2 Abstract Black Wood Totem Sculptures with Geometric Cutouts
Abstract Black Wood Totem Sculptures in Aged Black and Brown
These abstract black wood totem sculptures read as two dark vertical lines on a surface. The handcrafted design, in fir and MDF, carries aged black and brown tones broken up by geometric cutouts, so the forms open up instead of sitting there as flat blocks of color. The taller piece stands 27 inches, the shorter 23.
Set them at different depths on a console or sideboard and the cutouts start to overlap from where you stand. On a bookshelf they hold their own between rows of books, and on a mantel they add height without taking much width. The mood is quiet and a little mysterious, a modern abstract sculpture pair that suits a darker room.
