Description

Cream Upholstered Queen Storage Bed with Arched Headboard and Pleated Skirt | 45 Inch | Gas-Lift Storage Bed Frame

The headboard is the first thing the room registers: a softly arched dome profile at the top, the upholstered panel curved gently rather than cut to a flat or hard-angled edge. Cream 100% polyester over the entire piece, the headboard face padded and quiet, no tufting or surface treatment, the arch the only line that distinguishes it from a standard upholstered panel. The base, wrapped in the same pleated cream skirt as the platform, gives no visual indication of its function. Nothing here reads as a storage bed from the outside.

Lift the gas-operated base and the slatted mattress platform rises on black metal arms, revealing a full-depth storage cavity across the entire footprint. The storage here is genuine: the full interior of the bed base, accessible from the foot end, with the slat structure itself as the lid. At 66.25 by 86 by 45 inches the queen format provides substantial storage volume without any change to the exterior profile of the bed. The arched headboard and pleated skirt hold the room reading entirely intact whether the storage is open or closed. At 222 lbs two people are required to position. Some assembly required.

The Joan Queen Storage Bed from Moe's Home Collection measures 66.25 inches wide by 86 inches deep and 45 inches tall. 100% polyester upholstery in cream, solid wood, plywood and MDF construction, high-density foam, gas-lift slatted base with full-depth storage cavity. At 222 lbs it requires two people. Some assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
