42-Inch Mid Century Modern Wall Clock in Walnut Veneer
This large wall clock is divided into four pieced sections, each faced in walnut veneer, so the face reads as one warm field of wood in four parts. Intersecting iron rods, finished in a metallic gold, add the contrast. At just over 42 inches, that gold reads as graphic line work.
It belongs to the mid century modern side of the room, with an art deco edge from the gold. Daylight brings out the walnut tone, and in the evening the gold rods take over.
