32-Inch Industrial Cast Iron Table Lamp for a Study
This cast iron table lamp holds two moods at once. The industrial side shows in a subtle pitted texture and uneven traces of brass soldering that show the hand work in its construction. The softer side comes through in bold curves and delicate details.
At 32 inches tall, under a round drum shade wrapped in white linen, it fits a desk, a console table or the side table next to a leather reading chair. The iron reads dark and heavy, and the brass traces catch the light in small, irregular flashes. Put it in a dark academia study where a cleaner lamp would look too polished.
