29-Inch Cobalt Blue Fluted Ceramic Lamp in a Chinoiserie Spirit
A cobalt blue fluted ceramic table lamp that pays contemporary tribute to classic chinoiserie. The fluted base is sculpted ceramic in a rich cobalt gloss glaze, and the gloss runs light up and down every flute, so the blue looks brighter on the ridges and deeper in the channels.
Antique brass plated hardware ties it to traditional rooms without making it fussy. The slightly tapered drum shade, in a classic white linen, leaves the blue as the only color in play. Two of them flank a bed or a sofa well, and one alone brings real color to a console or a nightstand.
