Description

Oatmeal U-Shaped Modular Sectional with Open Center and Oak Veneer Platform Base | 150 Inch | Large Modular Sectional

The U-shape encloses three sides of the seating arrangement: a long back section spanning 150 inches with two perpendicular returns extending forward on each end, an arm closing each terminal side. The center opens to the room, the three upholstered walls creating an inward-facing seating environment. Oatmeal 72% polyester, 28% acrylic covers the full assembly in the same soft textured weave as the rest of the collection. The oak veneer platform base runs beneath the entire footprint, its warm brown runners visible along the lower perimeter of each section.

At 150 by 110 by 30 inches and 554.3 lbs this is a room-defining commitment. The U configuration produces an enclosed social space within the room -- the three sides of seating face each other across the open center, the arrangement creating a conversation environment that no other format matches. Foam, feather, and fiber fill throughout. This is not a piece to reposition frequently; decide the placement before it arrives. Assembly required.

The June U-Shaped Modular Sectional from Moe's Home Collection measures 150 inches wide by 110 inches deep and 30 inches tall. 72% polyester, 28% acrylic upholstery in oatmeal, oak veneer platform base, foam, feather, and fiber fill. At 554.3 lbs it requires multiple people. Assembly required.

  • 72% polyester, 28% acrylic in oatmeal, three-sided U with open center facing the room
  • Arms on both terminal ends, continuous oak veneer platform base throughout
  • Foam, feather, and fiber fill, same modular vocabulary as all configurations
  • 150"W x 110"D x 30"H | 554.3 lbs

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
