Dark Bronze Pivoting Arm Floor Lamp for a Reading Chair
This is a reading lamp in the old sense. A tapered metal base in a plated dark bronze, an oxidized bronze foot plate, and a pivoting shade arm that moves the light where you need it. The two bronzes, one plated and one oxidized, give it more depth than a single flat finish would.
The suspended round drum shade is compact at 13.5 inches across, in a natural linen with natural slubbing. A small shade on a pivoting arm puts the light on a page more than across the whole room. At 62.75 inches tall, this dark bronze floor lamp tucks in beside a reading chair or the end of a sofa, and an on/off switch keeps it simple.
