Morlowe is mid century modern furniture in mango wood, and it starts in the bedroom. Nightstands and dressers make up half the line. Behind them come console tables, coffee tables and media consoles, which take the line out to the entry and the living room.
Mango wood runs through almost every piece. Brass appears on dozens of them, and a smaller group brings in marble, travertine, boucle or leather. Wood alone can go flat once the overhead lights are off. A little brass or stone gives the lamp something to catch.
Mid Century Modern Mango Wood Furniture
Most of the collection is tagged Mid Century, and that is the right way to read it. The style puts its effort into wood and proportion instead of ornament, so a room built on it feels settled before the art goes up. Many pieces also suit Japandi and Organic Modern rooms. A smaller set leans Dark Academia, for a study that wants more shadow.
Morlowe Nightstands and Bedside Tables
Nightstands are the largest group by a wide margin, and with this many nightstands in the line, you can match the bed instead of settling for whatever fits the gap. Measure the top of the mattress first. A nightstand at mattress height or a little under it looks planned. One that stands well above it makes the bed look short. Then pick the pair and stop. Two matching pieces calm a bedroom faster than two clever ones.
Morlowe Dressers and Benches
Dressers and benches round out the line. Set a bench at the foot of the bed and it draws a second low line across the room, tying back to the nightstands without having to match them.
Console Tables for the Entry
Console tables are the second largest group in the line. In an entry, a console does the first job the house asks of anything: a surface for keys, a lamp, a place to drop the mail. Measure the hallway before you measure the console, and leave enough walkway that nobody has to turn sideways to pass it.
Morlowe Coffee Tables and Side Tables
A coffee table sits in the middle of every sightline in a living room, so its material shows more than its size does. Stone reads cooler than wood anywhere in a room, which is worth knowing before you add it to a space that already runs cold. Side tables follow the same logic.
Morlowe Media Consoles for the Living Room
Media consoles usually take the longest wall in the room. Size one to the wall, not to the screen, because a console that runs short under a large TV looks like an afterthought. Keep its finish close to the coffee table and the room holds together.
Desks, Ottomans and Storage
The rest of the line is small: desks, ottomans and poufs, cupboards and sideboards, plus two seating pieces. They fill out a study, or a corner that needs a seat.
Where to Start
Start with the piece the room depends on, usually the nightstand or the media console, and let everything else follow its finish. One brass or stone piece per room is plenty. Two start to compete.
