Description

Golden Yellow Tufted Right Arm Modular Lounge Chair | 31 Inch | Modular Lounge Chair

The right arm facing counterpart to the left arm version -- the arm structure on the right side rather than the left, the modular form otherwise identical: 52 wide, 43.5 deep, grid-tufted seat cushion in golden yellow polyester, plump loose back cushions, low-profile frame sitting close to the floor. In a full sectional configuration the right arm unit terminates the right end of the arrangement, the arm providing the form's far-right boundary. Used on its own it reads as a substantial low lounge chair with one arm -- a generous, informal seating presence in any room arrangement.

The golden yellow in the right arm chair reads with the same warm amber richness as its left arm counterpart: a deep golden tone that reads as more amber than yellow at close range, the tufted grid surface catching the room's light as fine relief across the cushion face. In morning light the golden tone is vivid and saturated; in warm lamplight it deepens toward a richer, slightly bronzed reading that settles into the room's warmth rather than asserting against it. The tufted seat and loose back cushions compose the same deep, giving seating geometry regardless of arm orientation.

The right vs left selection is determined by how the piece will be used -- as a standalone chair the arm position is a personal preference; in a sectional build the arm orientation determines which end of the configuration the piece anchors. The plywood frame and foam-feather-fiber fill provide the structural support and cushion depth the low-profile form requires. The polyester fabric spot-cleans with a damp cloth.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
