Description

Cream Channel-Tufted Queen Bed with Dark Curved Side Panels | 63 Inch | Upholstered Queen Bed

The two dark curved side panels are what make this bed specific. They sweep forward from the headboard in matching arcs, curving down to meet the platform -- dark espresso birch veneer surfaces enclosing the sleeping area from three sides. The headboard itself is cream 100% polyester with vertical channel tufting, narrow seams running the full height of the upholstered panel. Set between those dark sweeping wings, the cream channeled face reads almost as a window into the frame: pale and light within a dark enclosing structure.

At 63 by 85 by 41.5 inches the side panels rise to partial enclosure height at the bedside. The material contrast is the central design act here -- the dark espresso curves against the cream channel-tufted field generates the kind of drama a single-material bed cannot. In warm evening light the dark panels recede further and the cream surface catches what remains, which is exactly the right behavior in a bedroom. The practical note: the enclosed three-sided form means entry and exit from the foot end only, and the side enclosure changes the spatial experience of the bedside more than a standard headboard would. Mattress and foundation not included. At 209 lbs it requires two people. Assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
