Olive Right-Arm Facing Chair (OA-1124-16) by Moe's Home Collection

Olive Tufted Right Arm Modular Lounge Chair | 31 Inch | Modular Lounge Chair
The right arm facing modular chair in olive -- the same 52 by 43.5 inch form with the arm on the right side, the grid-tufted seat cushion, the loose back cushions, the low-profile frame -- in muted olive polyester. This is the right-end terminal unit for an olive Davie sectional build, or a standalone low lounge chair in its own right. The olive tone reads across the tufted cushion surface as a composed earthy ground -- the indented grid pattern visible as fine texture detail in directional light, the color settling into the warm-neutral room palette without the vivid commitment that golden yellow carries.
In a sectional configuration the olive right arm chair matches directly with the olive left arm chair, olive armless center sections, and the olive corner chair to build a cohesive full arrangement. Against warm oak floors, grey rugs, and pale plaster walls the olive tone reads as a measured, earthy presence at the room's seating zone -- present enough to register as a design decision, quiet enough to let surrounding materials lead. In morning light the olive is at its most fresh and slightly cool; in warm lamplight the tone darkens slightly toward the warm side of its range, the tufted seat face reading with deeper texture in the room's low light.
As with all pieces in the modular system, the foam, feather, and fiber fill provides the yielding, deeply cushioned seating character that the low-slung form implies. The plywood frame construction provides appropriate structural support. The polyester fabric spot-cleans with a damp cloth.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
