Taupe Upholstered King Storage Bed with Cloud-Form Headboard | King | Bed
Same cloud-form headboard and storage platform base as the cream version -- in taupe, which is the warm direction from cream and the grounded direction from brown. The taupe reads as a warm grey-brown: not pale, not dark, sitting at a mid-tone that absorbs detail in shadow and reads with warmth in lamplight. Against the cloud-form headboard profile the taupe adds visual weight that the cream does not have -- the organic arch silhouette at the top reads as a defined warm form against the wall rather than a pale one, and that weight is appropriate in rooms with other warm naturalistic materials at the surrounding surfaces.
The cloud headboard in taupe integrates naturally with warm wood floors, natural linen, and the kind of bedroom that reads as grounded and specific rather than light and airy. In lamplight the taupe upholstery deepens toward a richer warm-grey that gives the cloud form a settled quality -- present rather than floating. The base platform remains the same: a clean flat-sided storage box with no visible feet, the mattress sitting above it at the same low-profile height.
All practical notes from the cream version apply. At 87.99 inches wide and 195 pounds placement is permanent. The taupe finish choice determines whether the bed reads as a warm grounded focal point or a cool pale one at the bedroom's center.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
