King Natural Pine Platform Bed (RP-1041-24-0) by Moe's Home Collection

Natural Solid Oak Platform Bed with Vertical Plank Headboard | King | Wide Format Low Profile Wood Bed Frame
At king scale the vertical plank headboard is no longer a backdrop - it becomes a wall element. Eighty-nine and a half inches of individual solid oak planks, the seam lines running top to bottom across the full width, grain shifting in direction from board to board as each piece reads its own story. The natural finish keeps the wood pale and close to unaltered white oak - fine grain, consistent color, no added warmth or darkness. In morning light the vertical lines across that width cast fine rolling shadows that make the surface genuinely active. By evening under warm lamp the grain settles and the whole face reads as a single calm plane.
The difference between queen and king in this headboard is immediately visible: additional planks mean more vertical seam lines across a wider field, and at 89.5 inches the headboard reads less as furniture and more as architectural cladding covering the bedroom wall from side to side. The low platform base keeps the total height to 33 inches, the piece close to the floor, the headboard present without rising above the sightline. The platform sits with a slight visual float at the base - the piece does not appear heavy despite the solid oak construction. At 98.5 lbs it assembles with two people. Mattress not included.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
