Description

Forest Green Grid-Tufted Upholstered King Storage Bed with Platform Base | 80 Inch | Storage Bed

Same grid-tufted headboard and upholstered platform storage form as the cream version -- low wide biscuit-tufted headboard, fully upholstered box platform, under-bed storage access, 80.31 by 85.43 at 44.88 high -- in forest green. The deep olive-forest green polyester reads as a textured dark mass at the bedroom's primary wall: the grid tufting visible as subtle relief within the dark surface, the squares catching light as dimensional variation rather than high contrast. The fabric has a slightly heathered quality in this colorway that the cream does not, the weave adding surface interest to the dark field.

In a bedroom the dark green bed occupies the primary wall as the room's color and material statement simultaneously. Against pale walls and light wood floors the forest green reads as a grounded, deliberate counterweight -- the room organized around this piece rather than the piece sitting within the room. Against warm plaster, natural linen, or terracotta tones the green belongs to the natural-palette family and reads as the bedroom's saturated anchor at the sleep zone. In evening lamplight the deep green surfaces absorb the light, the tufting receding into a richly textured dark surface.

The honest consideration with a fully upholstered king bed in a dark colorway: it reads as resolved and generous when the room gives it space on three sides -- nightstand clearance, foot-of-bed clearance, and clear walls. The 80.31-inch width and 85.43-inch depth need a bedroom that can carry the full footprint. Frame: solid wood, plywood, MDF. At 252 pounds placement is committed.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
