Description

Sage Green Upholstered King Bed with Organic Wave Headboard and Ash Frame | 50 Inch | Bed

Same organic wave headboard form -- the ash wood frame tracing the undulating top edge as a defined warm-brown border around the upholstered interior panel, the low platform base, 50 inches of headboard height -- in sage green at king scale. At 86 inches the sage green covers the full primary bedroom wall at the sleeping position, the color present across a span that makes it a room-defining atmospheric decision rather than an accent. The ash frame reads against the green as a warm brown outline: two earthy materials in the same tonal family, the wood border defining the green panel's organic edge at a scale that extends across most bedroom walls completely.

At king width the sage green's atmospheric contribution intensifies relative to the queen. The oat version at this scale reads as a warm-neutral wall element that recedes; the green version at 86 inches reads as a color decision made at the most visible surface in the room. In morning light the sage appears at its most saturated across the full horizontal field, the ash frame's warm border defining it precisely against pale plaster. In warm lamplight the green deepens toward olive across the large headboard face, the sleeping wall taking on a rich, grounded character that the evening light activates most fully.

The pairing condition that applies at queen scale matters more at king: bedding in a contrasting tone -- pale linen, off-white, warm natural -- gives the sage headboard the foil it needs. Same-tone bedding merges into the green at arm's reach and flattens the headboard's color contribution at the most-viewed moment, which is the room's evening hour from the entry. The low platform base in the same sage green carries the color from the floor level to the headboard's peak. At 186 pounds and 86 by 88 inches the delivery logistics require a clear path to the bedroom's final position. The wall behind the full span of ash frame must be clear, pale, and uninterrupted.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
