Description

Cream Upholstered King Storage Bed with Cloud-Form Headboard | King | Bed

The headboard is a soft organic form: the top edge follows a gently undulating curve of multiple rounded arches, giving the panel a cloud-like silhouette -- the eye travels across a series of soft peaks rather than a straight line or single dome. In cream upholstery the organic profile reads as a pale rounded form against the wall that is immediately distinguishable from every conventional headboard in a room. It does not assert; it is simply the wrong shape for hard edges and reads as warmer and more approachable for it.

The base is a clean rectangular platform with no skirt and no visible feet -- a flat upholstered storage box that sits close to the floor with the mattress above it. From the front the bed reads as two clearly separated forms: the cloud-shaped headboard above and the low upholstered base below, the white mattress as the visible gap between them. That separation keeps the form readable and the cloud-headboard profile unambiguous. At 45.86 inches total height the headboard is modest in scale relative to the base -- the bed's presence in the room is horizontal rather than vertical, appropriate for rooms where the wall above the bed is active with artwork or architecture.

At 87.99 inches wide the cloud profile spans nearly 7.5 feet, which is a wide soft form against the wall. The organic headboard silhouette is less demanding to read at width than a straight or hard-edged panel of the same span -- the curve distributes the eye's movement rather than asserting a single line. At 195 pounds placement is permanent.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
