The headboard is the form's design distinction. Where most upholstered beds resolve the top rail with a flat or gently curved line, this one arches the center upward in a camelback curve -- a dome at the peak, descending symmetrically to each side, with small upholstered ear extensions that wing slightly forward at the lower edges of the panel. That arched profile and the subtle flare of the side ears pull the form into a vocabulary with a clear period reference: the camelback draws from 18th-century English furniture, and the padded wings place it between a traditional tester bed form and a winged headboard. The reference is present and legible without being literal.
The base continues the period-aware logic through a different method. Rather than exposing a storage platform, the frame is wrapped in a fabric skirt that drops nearly to the floor with pleated detail at the front corners. No feet are visible. The bed appears to float close to the floor on a gathered textile base, which reads from the front as composed and finished rather than utilitarian. In warm brown polyester -- a medium dark taupe-brown -- the whole bed reads as a specific traditional-leaning form that belongs in rooms with historical material reference, aged wood, or period-aware objects at the surrounding walls.
Storage access is through the pleated skirt at the base. At 79.92 inches wide and 50 inches tall the camelback headboard is the room's primary architectural element at the bedroom wall. At 232 pounds placement is permanent. The skirt will require attention to drape correctly after installation and moving.

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
