Dark Green Dining Chairs Set of 2 (EF-1009-27) by Moe's Home Collection

Dark Green Upholstered Seat Dining Chair with Oak Rail Back and Natural Frame | 30 Inch | Dining Chair
The form is refined to its essentials. The natural pale oak frame -- four clean legs, a top back rail with a slight rearward curve, a lower back rail, the two forming the chair's back structure as exposed wood elements rather than upholstered surfaces -- carries a single upholstered seat cushion in dark forest green polyester. No back cushion, no padded arms, no visible structural complexity. The oak reads as warm and open -- the pale natural grain catching the dining room's light as a clean material presence at each seating position, the back rails visible from across the room as minimal linear structures above the green seat.
At a dining table the dark green seats compose as the arrangement's color element against the pale oak frame -- each chair presenting a muted forest green seat at the table face, the natural wood back visible above and behind it. Against a warm oak or walnut table the green provides an earthy color note that belongs to the same organic range without competing. In morning dining room light the pale oak reads at its most luminous, the dark green seat in clear contrast below the airy back structure. In warm dining lamplight the natural oak develops a slight honey warmth, the green deepening slightly in the warmer register.
The upholstered seat sits within the oak frame and is removable for cleaning where needed. The back rail design means the chair's visual weight per seat at the table is low -- the open back structure contributes minimal material presence above the seat plane, keeping the table arrangement feeling light and open even with the full complement of chairs in place. Sold as a set of two.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
