Same floating-back form as the tan leather version -- low rounded back cushion floating above the seat pad with oak and air between them, exposed solid oak H-frame with footrest stretcher, 21.25 by 22.04 at 35.43 high -- in cream. The upholstery shifts from top grain leather to a polyester-cotton-nylon blend, which changes the surface quality: the cream fabric catches light with a soft textile texture rather than leather's reflective surface, the rounded back reading as softer and more yielding-looking in the lighter tone.
In a kitchen or dining room the cream upholstery reads as light and airy at counter height -- a pale textile form on the warm oak structural frame. Against natural stone counters and warm oak or walnut cabinetry the cream and oak read as the same natural-light palette without making a color decision. Against darker counters or painted cabinetry the cream upholstery provides the pale contrast at the seating level. The floating back in cream: the gap between back and seat is more visible in the light tone, the rounded form more apparent from across the kitchen.
The honest trade-off of a polyester-blend seat at a frequently used counter stool: it accumulates contact differently than leather over time. What it provides in return is cleanability -- the blend is easier to spot-clean than top grain leather, which matters at a kitchen counter position. The oak frame, footrest stretcher, and structural proportions are identical to the leather version. The polyester-cotton-nylon blend provides a soft, slightly textured hand. At 20.5 pounds the stool is well-proportioned for a counter position.

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
