Description

Tan Top Grain Leather Sofa with Overstuffed Rolled Arms and Spring Suspension | 87 Inch | Sofa

The same spring suspension, foam, fibre, and feather combination produces the same leather drape behavior at sofa scale: the tan top grain surface reads as generously upholstered, the natural creases and leather folds across the back and arm panels reading as volume and quality rather than wear. Three back sections run across the full 86.6 inches, each plush and rounded, the back surface reading as a single continuous rounded form at distance. The rolled arms cap each end in the same generous scale as the companion lounge chair. Small dark block feet carry the sofa at its low 27.5-inch profile.

A very plush, very low leather sofa at 86.6 inches occupies room space differently than a conventional-height sofa does. The 27.5-inch height means the piece reads as a long, low horizontal leather mass rather than as seating with presence above the room's floor zone. Against tall walls this sofa reads as grounded and recessive in height while assertive in width. The tan leather at this scale contributes significant warmth to the room's palette -- the large surface area reads as rich and warm in daylight and deepens in evening lamplight. Paired with the companion lounge chair at matching seat height, the two pieces read as a composed set.

Spring suspension beneath feather and foam fill across the full seat means the sofa does not compress to a hard bottom as foam alone would over time. The seat recovers. Top grain tan leather will patina over years of use -- it deepens, develops surface character, and becomes more interesting with time and handling. That is the genuine trade-off against performance fabric: more long-term character and depth, more attention required in the short term. At 123 pounds placement is committed.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
