Description

Brown Three-Seat Sofa with Loose Back Cushions | 87 Inch | Sofa

Same three-seat form as the warm black version -- three loose back cushions, low curved arms, tapered rubber wood legs, 86.8 inches -- in warm brown. At this scale the brown reads as a different room presence than the near-black: not a dark focal point but a warm grounded horizontal. A brown sofa at 86 inches against warm walls integrates as a tonal peer of the floor and other warm materials rather than demanding to be treated as a contrast element. The room can build around it in the same warm neutral register -- wood tones, natural textiles, earthy accents -- with the sofa as the stable low mass at the center of the arrangement.

The three loose back cushions in warm brown: the faux feather fill settles the cushions into a slightly informal, occupied quality that suits the colorway. This is not a sofa that reads as pristine; it reads as comfortable and present. Against pale wood floors the brown sofa reads as the room's warm anchor at the seating zone. Against warm dark floors it integrates and recedes into the palette, letting other elements carry the visual interest.

Top grain leather at the arm surfaces in warm brown develops a richer patina with handling -- the arms deepen and the material quality becomes more visible over time. At 86.8W x 35.8D x 34.6H and 134 pounds the same placement planning applies as with the near-black version.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
