84" Cool Brown Tufted Leather Sofa (GO-1014-39) by Moe's Home Collection

Cool Brown Tufted Leather Sofa with Rubber Wood Base | 83 Inch | Sofa
Same form as the deep brown version -- the full diamond tufting on back and seat, the rolled arms, the curved top rail, the solid rubber wood plinth base -- in a medium cool brown leather that changes how the tufting reads. In this colorway the button points register as distinct elements and the diamond grid reads as repeated decoration rather than absorbed texture. The individual tufts are clearly legible, the overall character more formally ornamental than in the near-black deep brown version. The form is more readable, and for some rooms that is the more useful version to own.
The cool brown has a slight grey in it that prevents it from reading as simply medium leather. It is neither warm cognac nor a standard chocolate -- the temperature is slightly restrained, which keeps it from reading as casual. Against warm floors and natural materials it reads as the grounded dark element at seated height; against cooler materials or neutral walls it reads as a warm anchor without the moody weight of the darker version. The tufting's shadow depth is also different at this tone: visible and present, the diamond pattern clear across the full back.
Identical dimensions and structure to the deep brown version -- 83.5 by 40.35 by 32.5 inches, 173 pounds, S-spring suspension, solid rubber wood base. The decision between the two finishes is a room context question: the deep brown suits darker, more settled rooms; the cool brown suits rooms with more light or where a slightly lighter read of the same formal form is what the space requires.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
