79" Sand Oak 9-Drawer Bow-Front Dresser (VL-1101-03) by Moe's Home Collection

Sand Oak Bow-Front Nine-Drawer Dresser | 79 Inch | Large Dresser
The center column of drawers bows outward -- a classic serpentine front, stripped of its traditional period dressing and executed in a cerused sand oak that makes the form read as contemporary reference rather than reproduction. In a nine-drawer dresser at 79 inches wide, the bow front is not a decorative gesture but a structural rhythm: the center advances, the two outer columns recede, and the whole piece has a subtle three-dimensionality that a flat-front dresser doesn't have. The small dark round pulls give each drawer face a single punctuation mark without adding hardware that competes.
The finish is worth understanding. This is not a dark stain -- it's a sandy, open-grained treatment that allows the wood's character to stay readable. Grain is visible, the tone is warm without being golden, and the surface has the quality of lightly cerused or weathered oak. The flared legs beneath the slightly molded skirt add enough height to prevent the piece from reading as squat despite the wide, horizontal format.
At 78.75 by 20 by 33.88 inches and 233 pounds, this is a bedroom commitment. The bow front adds a few additional inches of projection at center beyond the stated depth. Plan wall clearance carefully -- at 79 inches, this approaches the full width of most bedroom walls -- and consider that the piece needs breathing room on either side to let the three-part composition read rather than feeling pressed against the edges.
- Dimensions: 78.75W x 20D x 33.88H inches
- Weight: 233 lbs
- Solid oak frame and legs -- oak veneer over plywood top and sides
- Nine drawers in three columns -- bowed center section with dark round pulls

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
