78" Natural Oak Console Table with Oval Top (BC-1156-24) by Moe's Home Collection

Natural Oak Console Table with Oval Top and Lower Shelf | 78 Inch | Console Table
The top reads first. An elongated oval -- 78 inches of solid oak in a stadium shape, the ends resolving in smooth semicircular arcs rather than the hard corners of a standard rectangular console top. The overhang at each end projects well beyond the slab leg base, which means the full oval silhouette is visible from the front. That overhang gives the piece an airy quality despite the full 78-inch span -- the top reads as floating above its support rather than simply resting on it.
Below, two flat panel slab legs carry the top, their faces reading as wide oak planes from the front view. Between them a lower shelf sits at mid-height -- a horizontal panel that provides useful storage and display space without adding visual weight to the front face. The shelf runs between the legs at their full depth, making it functional for books, objects, and baskets rather than merely a visual reference to storage. No hardware appears anywhere on the piece. Everything is natural oak grain against natural oak grain.
At 123.2 pounds the console requires careful placement. The 22-inch depth is compact enough for entry halls, living room walls, and narrow corridors where a deeper credenza would be too intrusive. In natural oak the warm pale surface reads as a light horizontal element. The oval top above the clean flat legs is a considered form that earns its wall position without requiring anything around it to complete it.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
