Natural Oak Wood Sideboard with Rounded Corners and 4 Doors | 72 Inch
The rounding on this sideboard is deliberate but restrained, corners softened just enough to read as considered rather than decorated. In pale natural oak, the effect is Scandinavian in the best sense: surface that looks like it was designed around the material rather than despite it. The four doors divide the front into equal panels with no visible hardware; push-to-open mechanisms keep the face clean. At 72 inches wide it has real presence along a wall, but the low 30-inch height keeps visual weight manageable.
Oak veneer over MDF gives the case dimensional stability without the cost or mass of solid wood. The rubber wood base is finished to match, low enough to read as a plinth rather than legs. In morning light the pale grain glows warm. In evening lamplight it settles into something quieter and more amber. The trade-off with this tone is honest: fingerprints and water rings will show more readily than they would on a darker finish, it is a material that rewards care.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
