72" Natural Hemlock 6-Drawer Dresser (BB-1046-24) by Moe's Home Collection

Natural Hemlock Wood Dresser with Plinth Base | 72 Inch | Dresser
At 72 inches the dresser is a committed horizontal wall element. The same recessed panel drawers, same hardware-free front, same plinth base as the nightstand in this series -- but at full dresser scale the plinth runs the entire width without interruption, and the six drawers in two equal columns of three read as a clean grid of warm pale hemlock faces. The front surface at this width is all wood and narrow drawer gaps. No knobs, no pulls, no applied hardware detail. For its scale it is a very quiet object.
The hemlock grain runs across each drawer face individually, which means there is natural variation panel to panel -- some faces will read slightly warmer or with more grain movement than others. That variation is the material's character rather than inconsistency, and at this natural finish level the wood reads as genuine solid material rather than a photograph of grain applied over MDF. At 30 inches tall the top surface is at standard dresser height for mirror placement above. In the context of the Hudson series the dresser and nightstand share identical material and construction language -- together they read as a resolved bedroom system at the same quiet tonal register.
At 211.6 pounds placement requires planning and multiple people. The piece should be positioned correctly on the first attempt. In a room with pale floors and walls the natural hemlock reads as warm without asserting a color. Against other warm-toned wood furniture in the bedroom it integrates as a material peer.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
