68" Black Concrete Bench (ZT-1037-02-0) by Moe's Home Collection

Black Concrete Bench with Two Cylinder Legs | 68 Inch | Sculptural Entryway or Bedroom Bench
The form is elemental and slightly unexpected for a bench: a long oval slab - rounded at both ends, the profile organic rather than rectangular - resting on two solid cylinder columns positioned beneath it. All black concrete throughout, the top and the legs reading as one continuous material. At 68 inches the bench is genuinely large, and at 18.5 inches the seat height functions for both entry use and bedroom placement at the foot of a bed. The black matte surface absorbs rather than reflects in every light condition.
Two cylinder legs on a long surface creates a structural reading closer to a table than most benches - the space between and around the legs is fully visible, the floor present on all sides. That openness matters in a room: a bench this heavy reads lighter than it is because the solid floor planes between the cylinders keep visual weight from accumulating at the base. At 238.7 lbs it does not move once placed, which is its own practical advantage in an entryway. In rooms that carry other black or dark stone pieces, the concrete reads as part of the same material vocabulary. In rooms where it is the only dark element, it functions as the single grounding anchor the space needs.
The Rocca Bench from Moe's Home Collection measures 68 inches wide by 15.75 inches deep and 18.5 inches tall. Concrete top and cylinder legs in black finish. At 238.7 lbs it requires professional placement. No assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
