Description

Sheesham Wood TV Cabinet with Carved Doors, Natural

The O2 TV cabinet from Moe's Home Collection does something most media consoles do not: it uses the front face as the design moment. Two doors on the left half carry a geometric honeycomb relief carved directly into the sheesham wood, a pattern of interlocking faceted shapes that catch shadow and shift visually as you move around the room. The right side opens to two shelves for the components that need to breathe. The result is a cabinet that reads as considered whether the doors are open or not.

Solid sheesham in a natural finish brings warm amber-brown tones and visible grain to the piece. The four splayed tapered legs are the Mid-Century tell: that lifted stance that keeps the profile from looking heavy despite the cabinet body. At 57 inches wide and 24 inches tall, the proportions work under most television sizes. In daylight the carved surface reads as rich texture. Under evening light the relief casts deeper shadows and the carving takes on more dimension.

Mid-Century Modern Sheesham Cabinet with Open and Closed Storage

The mix of covered and open storage is the practical argument: doors on the left hide what needs hiding, open shelves on the right keep frequently used equipment accessible. The relief carving is what justifies looking at it when nothing is streaming. Sheesham is a dense, character-rich wood, and in a natural finish it ages with the room rather than resisting it.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
