55" Dark Brown Bench (QN-1031-20) by Moe's Home Collection

Dark Brown Top-Grain Buffalo Leather Bench with Barrel Channel Tufting | 55 Inch | Black Iron Base | Bedroom or Entryway Bench
Same form as the tan version: twelve rounded barrel-form leather tubes running the full length, black iron frame with curved U-supports and flat crossbar base. Dark brown buffalo leather changes the room read considerably. Where the tan version reads as a warm contrast to the dark base, the dark brown draws both materials into closer tonal range. The bench becomes a darker, more unified form rather than a light top on a dark frame. The two material planes read as related rather than in direct contrast.
In rooms with other dark materials - walnut, black metal, dark oak - the dark brown version reads as part of a coherent ground-level material conversation rather than as a single accent piece. In lighter rooms it provides a concentrated dark element at floor level without the stark graphic quality the tan version produces against black iron. The buffalo leather in dark brown has the same natural grain variation as the tan version, each tube's surface slightly distinct. Same 50.7 lbs, same iron base, same barrel-channel construction throughout. Some assembly required.
The Harrison Bench from Moe's Home Collection measures 54.75 inches wide by 20 inches deep and 17.25 inches tall. Top-grain buffalo leather in dark brown on a black iron frame with crossbar stretcher. At 50.7 lbs it repositions easily. Some assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
