Description

Natural Oak Round Dining Table with Four Cylindrical Legs | 48 Inch | FSC Certified Oak Dining Table

At 48 inches in diameter the round version puts four cylindrical legs at an equal distance from the center, two facing forward and two angled back, the legs visible from all approach angles simultaneously. The round top and cylindrical legs are formally related: all curves, no flat surfaces, no angular moments in the piece. FSC-certified natural oak throughout, the pale grain of the veneer top reading flatly across the full disc surface, the solid oak edge clean at the perimeter.

Round tables at 48 inches seat four with genuine comfort and up to six in closer configuration. No one has a worse seat. The four-leg rather than pedestal base keeps the floor visible below the whole piece, the space under the table clear from all sides, the table reading lighter than a pedestal format of the same diameter would. The cylindrical legs at this scale read as chunky and grounded, the table holding its weight close to the floor without a center post to navigate around. In spaces without the floor plate for the oblong versions, the 48-inch round maintains the same material language and formal vocabulary at a more compact footprint. At 116.6 lbs it repositions with two people. Some assembly required.

The Milo Round Dining Table from Moe's Home Collection measures 48 inches in diameter and 29.5 inches tall. FSC-certified solid oak edge and base, oak veneer over MDF tabletop in natural finish. At 116.6 lbs it requires two people. Some assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
