Description

Natural Oak Nightstand with Rosa Marble Top | 24 Inch | Nightstand

The natural version of the Enns form pairs a different material logic with a different room register. Solid oak edge framing the case faces, oak veneer in a warm pale-blonde tone across the surfaces, and a rosa marble top -- the pale pink-veined stone whose warm undertone and fine veining read as a quiet material event at the bedside surface. Where the dark walnut and travertine version reads as settled and contrast-driven, the oak and rosa marble version is lighter and more luminous: both materials warm in tone, the pale oak and the pink-inflected marble sitting in the same open, gentle register rather than pulling against each other.

Rosa marble has a specific warmth that white marble and grey stone do not share. Against the pale blonde oak case, the stone's faint pink veining reads as a subtle color note at the nightstand's top surface -- close enough in tone that the pairing reads as unified, distinct enough that the stone registers as the piece's material gesture rather than a continuation of the wood. In morning bedroom light the pale oak reads as open and grain-visible on the drawer face, the rosa marble above it catching the directional light as a slightly luminous stone surface. In warm lamplight both materials deepen gently, the oak taking on honey warmth and the marble maintaining its pale rose-veined quality.

Rosa marble benefits from a coaster under glasses to prevent potential staining over time; the stone's pale tone makes marks more visible than travertine. The solid oak edge provides clean material definition around the case perimeter. Dimensions match the dark walnut version throughout -- 27.5 wide, 24.4 high. This is the nightstand for rooms already running in a pale, warm, natural-material direction where the dark walnut version would read as too heavy.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
