24" Natural Floating Nightstand (FC-1024-21) by Moe's Home Collection

Natural Oak Floating Nightstand with Rounded Corners and Single Drawer | 12 Inch | Nightstand
Same rounded-corner floating form -- the continuous curve that softens the entire front profile, the wall-mount configuration that keeps the floor visible below, the single recessed-pull drawer -- in natural oak veneer. Where the dark walnut version reads as a warm-dark composed element against a pale wall, the natural oak version reads as a warm-light presence: the pale blonde grain across the top and drawer face close in tone to a warm plaster or linen wall, the piece integrating quietly rather than asserting itself as a material contrast. In rooms where the bedside zone should feel calm and continuous rather than structured and defined, the natural oak disappears into the room's warm-neutral field while remaining visually present at close range.
The rounded corners carry the same design logic as the walnut version -- the curve running continuously from face to side, the form sculpted rather than constructed -- but the lighter tone changes how the rounding reads. In morning light the pale oak grain catches the directional angle across the top surface with more delicacy than the darker walnut, the curved corner edges reading as subtle light-break lines rather than distinct shadow. In warm bedroom lamplight the natural oak develops a slight honey warmth, the floating form reading as a settled, organic presence at the wall.
The natural oak suits rooms running toward pale plaster, white linen, and warm natural materials where the dark walnut version would introduce more weight than the room needs at the bedside. Both pieces float from the wall at the same dimensions -- 24 wide, 12 deep, 12 high -- and require wall anchoring appropriate to the wall construction. The recessed pull is the only hardware element visible at the drawer face.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
