Description

Tan Leather Power Recliner Chair with Tufted Back | 37 Inch | Leather Recliner Chair

The button tufting on the back is what makes this recliner possible to place in a room with aesthetic ambition. The grid of tufts across the seat back is a mid-century detail -- the kind that sits on the right side of the design line between classic and familiar. Tan 100% top grain leather covers every surface; it develops a patina over time in a way that tells the material story. Dark walnut-toned tapered legs carry the base at four corners, remaining visible in the upright position and descending below the seat when the footrest extends.

At 37.4 by 37.8 by 33.85 inches the chair takes up more floor depth when the footrest is fully extended -- the mechanism adds significant forward projection at full recline, which is the clearance measurement that actually matters for room placement. Against a wall is not a viable position; the chair needs rear clearance for the mechanism to operate fully. The tan leather reads warm and specific in a room with dark wood, brass, or natural woven textiles. High-density foam and fiber/feather fill cushioning provides the right depth. At 77 lbs it holds position once set. Assembly required.

The Bridgers Power Recliner Chair from Moe's Home Collection measures 37.4 inches wide by 37.8 inches deep and 33.85 inches tall. 100% top grain leather in tan, solid red meranti wood frame with dark walnut-finish legs, high-density foam and fiber/feather fill cushioning, power recliner mechanism. At 77 lbs it holds position. Assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
