Stripe Upholstered Dining Chairs with Wood Frame Set of 2 (EW-1032-37) by Moe's Home Collection

Stripe Upholstered Dining Chair on Natural Ash Frame | 19 Inch | Dining Chair Set of Two
Same ash frame and ball post finials, in a narrow cream stripe 82% polyester, 18% acrylic upholstery. In this colorway the two-pad construction reads less as a color contrast and more as a textile detail: the fine vertical stripe lines run continuously across both the back and seat pads, making the chair read as a coherent patterned object against the pale ash frame rather than two distinct surfaces.
At 19.5 by 23 by 33.5 inches the proportions are nearly identical to the deep pink version. The narrow stripe is quiet enough to read as texture at a distance -- it only resolves into a distinct pattern on close inspection, which is the best behavior a patterned dining chair can have. The pale tone of the stripe fabric and the natural ash sit in the same value range, giving the piece a tonal harmony that the deeper colorways do not have. The ball finials are still the specific period reference in the design; in this pale colorway they register more subtly as the overall palette unifies rather than contrasts. Sold as a set of two. At 28.4 lbs the pair moves easily. Assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
