Olive Dining Chairs Set of 2 (EQ-1011-27) by Moe's Home Collection

Olive Upholstered Dining Chair with Rubberwood Legs | 36 Inch | Dining Chair
Same slim-profile form as the tan leather version -- full seat and back upholstered in one continuous surface, gently shaped back top edge, tapered rubberwood legs in warm brown -- in olive green polyester. The material shift from leather to polyester changes the chair's room register in two ways: practically, the polyester surface is more forgiving at the dining table for daily spills and cleaning; visually, the olive reads as a softer, less formal material presence than the cognac leather version, the upholstery color contributing warmth without the leather's implied weight. At the dining table the olive chairs deliver a composed green note at each seating position.
The olive tone works most naturally in dining rooms running toward warm organic materials -- natural wood tables, plaster walls, linen, jute rugs. Against warm oak or walnut the green chairs read as part of the room's earthy range rather than as a contrasting color decision imposed on it. Against a dark dining table the olive provides a clear warm counterpoint at the seating positions. In warm dining lamplight the olive deepens slightly, the full upholstered back and seat reading as a warm, settled material element at the table perimeter.
The slim profile at 18.5 inches wide keeps the per-chair table footprint compact. The tapered rubberwood legs in warm brown contribute a material note at the base consistent with the chair's overall organic warmth. At 15.4 pounds each the chairs are easy to draw and push back from the table. Sold as a set of two; multiple sets required for larger dining arrangements. The polyester upholstery cleans efficiently with a damp cloth for routine dining maintenance.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
