Light Brown Channeled Office Chair (YM-1026-21) by Moe's Home Collection

Light Brown Channeled Office Chair with Five-Star Caster Base | 32 Inch | Office Chair
The same channeled upholstered back and seat as the dining version -- vertical stitching running from the top of the back through the seat in parallel seams, the iron frame concealed within, no armrests, no exposed structure above the base -- floating above a black five-star caster base with height adjustment. The transition from slab-leg dining chair to rolling office chair is the form's one concession to desk function. Everything above the mechanism reads the same: a composed upholstered block of warm light brown polyester with vertical channels, oriented at work height.
The practical value of an office chair with a considered upholstered back rather than mesh or plastic is legibility from the adjacent room. In a home office that opens to a living space or is visible from a hallway, a channeled fabric chair in a warm tonal color reads as furniture that belongs in the house rather than equipment that is merely tolerated in it. The light brown sits at a warm mid-tone that integrates readily with wood desks, natural shelving, and the kind of home office that is also a place worth looking at.
At 20.3 by 26.8 inches and up to 31.9 inches tall the seat footprint is compact for a rolling office chair. The five-star base provides the standard swivel and caster mobility. At 26 pounds the chair rolls easily. No armrests means the chair tucks fully under a desk surface without clearance constraints.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
