Description

Ginger Performance Fabric Tufted Tub Chair with Turned Wood Legs | 35 Inch | Accent Chair

A fully tufted dome back at the accent chair position does two things simultaneously: deposits visual weight and deposits color. The tufted surface reads as richer than the swatch in daylight -- the diamond indentations hold shadow and the peaks catch light -- and in ginger, that warmth reads across a room before the chair's actual scale registers. The form is a classic tub silhouette: dome back wrapping the sitter, low cushioned arms, dark turned rubber wood legs at four corners. At 31.5 by 33.9 inches the chair is compact but never modest in its presence.

What ginger specifically does at the accent chair position: it warms the room's palette actively. A room running pale neutrals, cool linens, or grey-adjacent tones reads measurably warmer with a ginger tufted chair present. Against warm woods and earthy textiles the amber tone integrates as a tonal peer rather than a contrast note. Against pale walls and natural fiber sofas it becomes the room's deliberate warmth anchor -- the piece the room's cooler palette resolves against. Performance fabric (70% polyester, 30% recycled polyester, C0) and memory foam fill keep the classical form practical without softening its character.

The common error with a fully tufted dome-back form: treating it as a secondary seat. The silhouette has too much presence to read as background furniture. This chair earns a lamp and a position in the room's primary conversation zone -- not the corner pulled in for extra seating. The turned rubber wood legs give it a coherent historical identity without demanding period furniture around it. At 50 pounds it repositions with effort but not difficulty.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
