Dark Brown Leather Dining Chairs Set of 2 (GO-1018-20) by Moe's Home Collection

Dark Brown Leather-Back Armless Dining Chair with Solid Oak Frame | 32 Inch | Dining Chair
The material split is the design decision: the back panel in top grain leather, the seat in polyester upholstery, the structure in solid oak. At the dining table this combination provides the warm tactile quality and visual character of leather at the element that reads from across the room -- the upright back -- while the seat surface serves the functional seated position. Deep brown top grain leather at the back means the chair reads as rich and specific from the room's main viewing angle. Two chairs per order.
Top grain leather at the back panel will develop patina over time at the contact points -- the leather's surface quality deepening and warming with regular use in the way that is specific to this material. The polyester seat provides the practical surface beneath the sitter, which is the position most subject to spill and spot-cleaning requirements. The solid oak frame provides the structural transparency that keeps the compact chair -- at 21.6 wide and only 19.5 deep -- reading as light rather than heavy at the table. At 32 inches high the chair sits at a standard dining height.
Deep brown leather at the back reads as anchored and dark in daylight -- a rich, present color at the seat level. In warm evening lamplight the brown surface picks up warmth and the leather's sheen reads as the table's most material-specific element. At 19.5 inches deep the chair fits close to the table, keeping the room's circulation tight and uncluttered. At 17 pounds for the set the pair moves easily for cleaning or rearranging.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
