Description

Light Beige Armless Modular Sofa Chair | 35 Inch | Modular Lounge Chair

The Swift slipper chair in light beige -- the armless center module at 33.46 wide, 40.16 deep, 34.65 high. In light beige the armless form reads as the configuration's most neutral and visually receding element: no arm structures interrupting the upholstered plane at either side, the pale warm polyester reading as an open, calm surface between the arm chairs and corner unit in a built-out beige Swift arrangement. One light beige slipper chair fills 33 inches of seating length; multiple slipper chairs in sequence extend the configuration without changing the color or tonal character of the assembled form.

The smooth seat and back cushions in light beige present an even, warm-pale surface at the seating position -- clean, composed, the cushion seams the only surface interruption across the armless form. At 34.65 high the seating position is consistent with the arm chairs, the sitter neither raised nor lowered relative to adjacent modules in a full configuration. In morning light the warm pale tone reads freshly and openly; in warm lamplight the beige deepens slightly toward cream, the clean smooth upholstery reading as a settled warm-neutral surface.

As a standalone chair the narrow 33.46-inch width and armless form makes this a compact, versatile extra seat -- a guest chair in a living room, a desk-adjacent seat, or a bedroom reading position where arm clearance is not needed. Light beige at a seating position requires attentive maintenance. The foam, feather, and fiber fill provides the same supportive seating character as the arm chair modules. The polyester fabric spot-cleans with a damp cloth.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
