90" Olive Green Sofa (EF-1002-16) by Moe's Home Collection

Olive Upholstered Sofa with Rounded Back and Oak Post Arms | 90 Inch | Sofa
The back curves. Not a slight rounding at the corners but a continuous arc that runs the full 90-inch span from one oak arm post to the other, the upholstered back surface reading from across the room as a single resolved organic form rather than a flat back placed between two arm structures. The two solid oak posts at the sofa's ends are the arm structure -- each one a rounded-corner column of warm natural oak that extends from the floor upward to slightly above seat back height, the wood visible and present as a material element flanking the fabric form at either end. A cylindrical oak-toned bolster pillow at each arm position completes the form.
The olive polyester fabric is an earthy, muted green -- the tone that occupies the range between sage and moss without fully committing to either. In a room running toward warm plaster, natural fiber rugs, and pale wood the olive reads as a color note that belongs to the organic material range without asserting itself as a distinct design decision. The continuous rounded back in olive creates a specific room presence: the form reads as softened and enveloping from across the room, the barrel-back silhouette more generous and less linear than a conventional sofa back. In morning light the textured polyester surface catches the directional light with a subtle grain quality.
At 90 inches wide and only 30.25 deep the sofa is proportionally wide and compact front-to-back -- appropriate in rooms where depth is limited, the shallow depth requiring appropriate clearance between the sofa face and coffee table. In warm lamplight the olive deepens toward a richer tone, the oak posts reading as warm structural bookends at the sofa's ends. The solid oak legs and frame carry the construction's functional demands without being visible from the primary viewpoint.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
