Description

Warm Brown Oak Sideboard with Four Doors and Two Drawers | 78 Inch | Oak Sideboard

A 78-inch sideboard in warm brown oak: two drawers across the top, four cabinet doors below, all in matching grain. The solid oak legs and frame and the oak veneer panels share the same warm brown tone, giving the piece a material consistency that painted or stained alternatives do not produce. Small round metal hardware sits on each drawer face -- the only non-wood element in the composition, specific without being assertive.

At 78.5 by 19.76 by 32 inches the proportions are a standard buffet scale. At 19.76 inches deep it sits comfortably against a dining room wall without projecting into the room. The four cabinet doors open to interior storage divided into two sections per side; the layout suits both dining room and living room console applications. The warm brown oak grain varies subtly between the solid frame material and the veneer panel faces, adding depth without tonal disruption. At 32 inches high and 78 inches wide the top surface provides meaningful room for display above the storage below. At 220 lbs it requires two people and a permanent position. Assembly required.

The Caroline Sideboard from Moe's Home Collection measures 78.5 inches wide by 19.76 inches deep and 32 inches tall. Solid oak frame and legs, oak veneer over MDF door and drawer panels, warm brown finish, round metal hardware. At 220 lbs it requires two people. Assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View

Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin

A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing

Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.

In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.

His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.

The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.

The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft

Material First - Trend Second

Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.

The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.

The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.

- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
