60" Framed Abstract Painting (JQ-1071-37) by Moe's Home Collection

Abstract Botanical Canvas with White Blooms and Cobalt Blue | 60 Inch | Wall Art
The canvas fills with large-petal flowers at an enlarged scale -- three white blooms at the front of the composition, cobalt blue flower forms visible in the upper register, dark forest green foliage winding through the arrangement, warm gold and blush background passages where the canvas shows between the botanical forms. The flowers are painted flat rather than rendered in depth, their petals reading as architectural shapes rather than illustrative description. The composition is closer to a graphic field than a naturalistic painting, and that flatness is what gives it presence rather than preciousness.
The color decision worth noting: cobalt blue against white petals and dark green foliage is the painting's central tension. The warm gold background holds it from reading as cold and hard. In a room running with natural material at the surfaces -- oak, linen, stone -- the cobalt in this painting introduces a color note that most natural-material rooms quietly lack. That absence is often what makes a warm-neutral room read as flat rather than composed.
At 60 by 40 inches in a thin warm float frame this is a wide horizontal form. Above a sideboard in a dining space it reads as a composed wide color statement. Above a sofa it reads as a generous second element at the room's primary view. Three feet of botanical color across a wall is a commitment; it earns its place in rooms where the wall otherwise reads as emptied by the furniture below it.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
