47" Walnut Round Dining Table (CB-1003-03-0) by Moe's Home Collection

Walnut Round Dining Table with Angular Trestle Base | 47 Inch | Seats 4 to 5
The same angular trestle base as the black version, but in solid American walnut the geometry tells a different story. The warm dark brown of the walnut, the fine straight grain on the top surface, and the visible wood joinery at the triangular feet all read clearly in the natural finish - where the black version resolves as a sculptural object, the walnut version reads as craftsmanship. Two wide angled members splay from a central meeting point to triangular feet at the floor, the base geometry active and visible at seated eye level. One material throughout, grain continuous from top through base.
American walnut has a particular depth in the evening - under warm lamp it shifts toward a richer brown than it carries in daylight, the grain becoming more pronounced as the light rakes across the surface at low angles. At 47 inches the round top seats four generously, five closely, all positions unobstructed. At 61.6 lbs it is unusually light for solid walnut at this scale, which allows easy repositioning. In rooms that carry other warm wood tones the walnut reads as a natural continuation. In rooms where it is the only warm wood piece, the combination of the material's depth and the base's visual complexity gives the table considerable presence. Some assembly required.
The Godenza Round Dining Table from Moe's Home Collection measures 47 inches in diameter and 29.5 inches tall. Solid American walnut, top and angular trestle base. At 61.6 lbs it repositions easily. Some assembly required.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
