32" Natural Oak Nightstand (EF-1017-24) by Moe's Home Collection

Natural Oak Two-Drawer Nightstand with Rounded Corners and Oak Knobs | 26 Inch | Nightstand
Same form and dimensions as the dark brown large nightstand -- 32 wide, two drawers, turned round knob handles, rounded top corners -- in natural pale oak. The difference between this and the dark version is not just color but atmosphere. The natural oak reads as warm, airy, and integrating; the dark version reads as anchored and specific. Against warm plaster walls, pale linen bedding, and warm wood floors, the natural oak nightstand reads as part of the room's material tonal unity -- a piece that belongs in a warm-neutral palette without introducing a dark element or a color commitment.
The rounded top corners in natural oak catch the room's light as a soft transition at each end: the curve visible as a slight highlight where the top surface edge meets the front-facing case corner, the grain running continuously across the transition. In morning light the pale oak develops a subtle honey warmth -- the grain visible across the drawer faces as a refined pattern, the turned knob handles reading in the same pale tone as the case they sit within. In warm bedside lamplight the natural tone deepens slightly toward the amber end of the oak range, the nightstand reading as warmer in the evening than in flat daylight.
The natural version is the pairing for rooms that run entirely warm and pale -- no dark wood elements, warm white or plaster walls, natural fiber rugs, linen bedding. At that palette the nightstand reads as part of the room's material language rather than as a placed object. Two drawers at standard bedside storage capacity, 26-inch height for standard bed surface clearance. The material construction is the same as the dark version: solid oak at the edges, legs, and handles; oak veneer over MDF at the main face surfaces.

Moe's Home Collection:Forty Years of Furniture With a Point of View
Some brands earn trust loudly. Moe's has never needed to. The evidence shows up in rooms, season after season, in pieces that end up feeling more considered than their owners quite anticipated. More grounded. More alive.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.
A Design House, Not a Furniture Factory
The Pieces Feel Found - Not Simply Bought

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.
Moe's Is Built for PeopleWho Notice the Difference

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
- Moe's does not source furniture. It curates it.
