Round Terracotta Concrete Side Table with Dome Form | Indoor Outdoor | 24 Inch
The form is a dome, cast low and full, the whole table is essentially one volume with no distinction between base and surface. In terracotta, the concrete picks up the warmth of fired clay without the fragility. The color reads differently across the day: orange-warm in direct afternoon light, deeper and more earthen in shadow. The proportions keep visual weight low and close to the ground.
Concrete this color absorbs warmth in bright rooms and reads as intentional in spaces that already carry earth tones. It does not disappear into the background, the dome form and the color are both too present for that. At nearly 16 inches tall it functions at seat height, close enough to a sofa arm to hold a drink or a book without reaching.
The Insitu Side Table from Moe's Home Collection measures 24 inches in diameter and 15.75 inches tall. Fibre reinforcement adds tensile strength to the concrete mix. Rated for indoor and outdoor use. Each piece will vary slightly in tone and surface texture, that variation is inherent to the material.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone decided, a long time ago, that material and craft were worth the extra conversation, and never really stopped having it.

The Origin
A Family That BuiltSomething From Nothing
Moe Samieian Sr. arrived in Canada with an engineering degree and almost nowhere to use it. So he sold rugs at road shows, worked on commission, and learned the retail floor through years of direct customer contact.
In 1986 he opened his first store in Vancouver. Walking the trade shows, he kept noticing the same thing: most furniture looked identical. So he started hunting for pieces with something to say. Antiques. Flea-market finds. Objects with texture and history. More stores followed, and in 1999 he moved decisively into wholesale.
His children Sara and Moe Jr. carried that instinct forward. Not what merely sells. What resonates. That distinction still drives every collection.
The materials earn their place. Wood warms the edges. Stone steadies the eye. Steel adds tension. Glass lets the composition breathe. A hand-worked surface keeps a modern room from feeling too resolved.
The goal was never perfection. It was presence.

The Craft
Material First - Trend Second
Every collection is designed in-house, then built through a manufacturing network developed over decades. Vietnam, India, Italy, Poland, Canada, the USA. Not the lowest-cost option in any of those places. Long-term makers who've been held to the same standards long enough that the standards stopped needing to be explained.
The construction is what you'd expect from that kind of relationship. Solid hardwood frames. High-density foam. Hardware that doesn't announce itself by failing early. These are not selling points so much as baseline expectations that a lot of furniture quietly fails to meet.
The materials go further than that. Acacia grain that no engineered surface comes close to replicating. Stone that grounds a room both visually and physically, which are different things and both matter. Mixed metals chosen for tension rather than coordination. FSC-certified wood and responsible sourcing throughout, though the more honest argument for it shows up over time, in how the pieces age rather than what the spec sheet says.
